getting a job..which one?

Its the holidays. yeah! however, i want to get a job. although the holidays will be like 1 month and a half or so, i want to get a job so i can buy stuffs. i want to get an mp3 and this time, a better one than teh previous. and i will really make sure i don't spoil it like i did my previous mp3(s). i don't understand why but it's as if i have this disease or got knows what. every thing electronic i have just ends up spoiling. super frustrating! i can't leave without an mp3. life without music is just soo dull and boring and ugghh...its hard to explain but its just unbearable. i love to litsen to music when i'm doing my things. so when i'm travelling from places to places before reaching the destination, i always love to listen to songs. now i can't and i have to actually listen to the people around me and things that's happening in the world. before i can just shut them out. annoying people. irritating people. things i don't like to see. and get lost in the songs.

also apart from that perhaps get some clothes. i should. change my closet abit. haa. like i could really. but at least try right. soo i hope i get a job soon. something i'll like perhaps or not bu at least something i will not dread. hmmm..

some random babbling..*curfews*

curfews. weird things they are. sometimes you really wish you don't have curfews. so you don't have a specific time to be home and won't get scolded for coming home pass your curfew. however, without curfews, you might not be responsible enough to make sure that you do not come home too late. even so, how do you know how late is late? so, now we have no curfew, we can always come home at 3 or even later? or don't come home even.

for me though, i won't say i don't have any complaints about curfews. i do. lots. like the fact with curfews, i can't get to enjoy spending time with my friends longer. there are some stuffs when having curfews, i can't do like being able to spent the eve of new year counting down to new year with my friends at town. after that doing nothing really but just walk around. talking. enjoying each other's company. seating at macdonals enjoying an ice-cream or a cup of milkshake? till the late morning. or all through the night. and only going home in the morning. it would be sooo fun.

still, i'm glad i have a curfew. if not, i would not be responsible enough to get home early or at least not too late. i might just still be spending time with my friends. watching videos, movies and talking with them and then getting home late. though it seems great but its not always. you don't know what's lurking out there in the dark. the people that comes out at night. scaaary. hahah.

oh well, curfews..hmmm..

The 51th Academy Award

Just around the end of last month i was watching the Golden Globes and was awed and amazed by everything. The amazement of it all. The actors. The actresses. Everything! I've gotten to know more about movies that i've never known. Movies that have or have not came out yet. I've gotten to know of a movie 'Slumdog Millionaire'. It's a really great movie with great songs and it won several awards.

Today, just a few months after, they have another great award show. The 51th Academy Award. Again this time, i'm hearing of movies i've never heard of especially international films. Great actors and actresses winning awards for recognition for their superb acting and how they show it on screen making us all feel the role they are playing. Great movies which also deserve the recognition they got. 'Slumdog Millionaire' prove to be at the top of its game. Winning alot of oscars for best director, best song, best motion picture and others. I was so so happy when 'Slumdog Millionaire' won for best song 'jai ho'. I looove that song. Amazing. The dance they did at the end of the show with that song..greeaaatt.

Aaaah. I just loove watching award shows. To see great actor, actresses, movies and those working hard in the movies getting the recognition they deserve. Without them, there wouldn't be wonderful movies for us to watch. Without them, there wouldn't be Hollywood. Hollywood movies have been a great deal part of my life. Part of me as i'm growing. Been watching Hollywood movies since i was very very young. Keep going all the way. Keep making great and wonderful movies for people like me who enjoys watching movies and feeling the emotions thru the movies and who just enjoys great movies. Wohoo! ~

Gucci, Prada, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Burburry, Armani|Exchange, CK Calvin Klein, Zara, Miss Sixty & such such more. These are all luxurious brands owned by people who can afford such things especially celebrities.

Went to town yesterday with yongyi and it was a mixed experience. Got 'wowed' when entering all those shops especially when entering shops like Gucci, Prada, Chanel and Louis Vuitton. Before you enter these shops, there's someone at the door to open it for you. They greet you saying "Welcome to (name of the place)" The people to serve you are all wearing suits and extremely well-dressed to keep up to the standard of the place and the brand and of course their stuffs are so brilliant. The bags, the shoes, accessories, sunglasses and all. Couldn't be described.

Apart from feeling 'wowed', somehow, we felt cheap. Nobody entertains you unless you look like a million dollars or at least are there to buy their stuffs(not to window shop). Experiencing it ourselves. We went to Chanel. Got greeted. Door opened for us. Basic stuffs. Though once we're in, we're left on our own and the people to serve the customers are chatting amongst themselves. A moment later , i heard them greeting a customer 'Good Afternoon' and i turned and saw them attending to these customer immediately. The customer i could tell is filthy rich. She didn't even want those people to serve her and asked for a staff that she wanted. Going "Is Lenky around? Get me Lenky". As she looked at the stuffs, she commented "Are these the new arrival?" Literally, at that moment we felt cheap. Not even a thing on us is branded or even has a brand at all.

When we went to Gucci, i saw this two friends. They were looking at the shoes sections and were trying on some. I looked at one of them and saw her carrying a Louis Vuittton bag. Hmmm..& she is not even like an adult yet. I looked at the other one and was wondering why was she not as well-dressed as her friend. Then to my amazement, i saw the bag she was carrying. Prada. I was thinking. Ok, don't mess with these people. We got tired and sat down but they were there for me to be able to examine them more. The girl with the Louis Vuitton bag, not only was she carrying the Louis Vuitton bag but was wearing Louis Vuitton heels as well. The other girl with the Prada bag was wearing a white t-shirt with Armani|Exchange written on the front. Ooooh. These two must come from a rich family. Rich parents perhaps?

From those experiences and observation, i planned on getting myself a luxurious brand item. One will do. At least when i go out to town or somewhere fancy, i could wear it. I was thinking a bag perhaps. It'll last longer. Could put my stuffs inside. Shoes. Ermm..i'll be walking to places and not like i have a personal driver to drive me everywhere. My shoes will get damaged. Maybe accessories? Bracelet? Necklace? I don't know but definitely first i'm getting is a bag. I'm gonna work this hols and get myself a luxury brand bag. Oooh..how exciting. But i really really really must take care of the bag once i've bought it. Knowing me. I'll take extra extra care and be extra extra careful when handling the bag.

Oh, Today gonna go study and window shop again. Me and yongyi, we're trying a new study tactic, As we window shop, we ask each other questions, test each other. Hope the tactic works. =D



Happy to be single's day =D

Happy to be single's day!! Haha. I know today is valentines day but i've decided to think about those who don't have a guy in their life. People like me. Well yeah we may not have a guy in our life but that's ok. We're single and enjoying singlehood alot. Spending time with friends and hanging out. For some people, spending time with their books. Haha. Exams around the corner.

Still, it's great for those who got to spent time with their beloved today and i hope these people have had a great valentines day. Today, almost everywhere is basked in l.o.v.e love. Shops selling valentines gifts, card and balloons. So cool!! Hahah. Just now, as i was on the escalator, this guy in a suit was like "Excuuuse me.." I excused him and he rushed up the escalator with a bouquet of flowers in his hand. Hmmm..then i heard a woman's voice. "Excuse us. i'm sorry". Smiled at me and rushed up the escalator also with a bouquet of flowers in her hand. She was elegantly dressed. I guess they are both together. Should be attending a valentines day party or something. Must be fun.

So well, happy to be single's day && happy valentines day!! =D

The ice-cream melted as i got home. AAAHH!! Hahah..some parts became watery. Eerrr. Hahaha.

Was on our way home but me and yongyi we realised that it was kinda early to go home so we thought of places to go. Westmall? Lot 1? Hmmm..then we decided on IMM. However, we stopped at popular first. Went to search for the book 'new moon' and looked at some music cds too. Anyways, at IMM, went to just window shopped. Went in the different shops they had. Oh, especially the furniture shops. The furnitures they had on display were kinda elegant. Both of us started saying about our dream houses. Haa..

Well, after all that walking and talking, we got thirsty. Mostly yongyi. I was alright. So, we went to giant. Bought Marigold's Passion fruit Yoghurt Drink. As were about to head off to pay, we passed the ice-cream section. We stopped to look at the different ice-creams. Looking at the ice-creams got us craving for some. So, we were thinking, why not buy one? Then we could sit somewhere and eat it right from the tub. Well, that's what we did. We found a seat at the 2nd floor at this corner with seats. We sat there and started digging in on the ice-cream. Eating the ice-cream right from th tub brought us back to our childhood days where we ate the ice-cream from this small tub with wooden spoons. Haha. Anyways, i felt it was sorta fun in some sorts eating ice-cream from the tub. The feeling is entirely different than eating from a bowl. You can keep eating without worrying about having to save for others. Also if i was alone, i might feel a lil awkward and self-conscious about eating ice-cream from the tub. People might think i have just broken up with my boyfriend or what(remember movies how when the girl has a breakup, you will see them eating ice-cream from the tub) As we ate, we drank too.

*Some info from me & yongyi: ice-cream(sweet) + passion fruit Yoghurt Drink(sweet) = bad combo. You can't taste the taste of the drink at all. Like drinking cardboard(ok, exaggerating..). Well, you just have to wait awhile before starting to drink again that's all. No big deal. Haa. But, before you start worrying, passion fruit Yoghurt Drink is nice! Give it a try people.

Oh, not to mention, as we were eating the ice-cream, a group of guys walked pass us. They talked in chinese. I couldn't understand but yongyi translated for me. a guy said "You see, they eat from the tub. So cute." Something like that. Haha..anyways, if ruth and sherrill was there to enjoy the ice-cream too would be good. Too bad though. =P

This was the cpcakes bought for Insyirah's birthday. They were eh-emm yummy! Love it. Look at them nicely decorated as well. If only i can make cupcakes as nice as those. Will make one each specially for my dear friends.

Decided to take pictures of some sceneries that i saw. I saw the houses and defenitely had to snap it. Houses by the sea. Oh my, so lovely. If i could stay in a house by the sea, that would be amazing. Plus, staying in those kind of houses i'm sure would be so expensive but if you can aford it, it's worth it i'm sure.



We could see the sea through our carrage. Nice. Though i'm sure whn yongyi sees the scenery, he'll be afraid. He'll say so scary to look at cause its at such a height. Haa..

Saw this at city hall. It was being displayed. It was part of a drive encouraging people to donate softs toys that they don't need or don't want anymore. I purposely took the picture from this side. Hello Kitty!! It's so huge. I myself don't have a biig hello kitty soft toy when i'm obsessed over hello kitty. Can i take and bring it home?? Hahah..
