I found this at Jay's blog and thought I'll post this up too. It's good for whoever's in a relationship. Be it the guy or the girl so read it!((:

1)Stop asking and start changing yourself if you want people to change too.It takes two hands to clap,so if you don't take the initiative,nothing will ever change.

2)Start listening to one another.Stop expecting anything from each other because it will only arise to complications and arguments which you wish will never happen.

3)Always compromise.It's never possible to follow what you feel all the time.It may never turn out the way that you want it to be,that's why it's important that both parties should talk it out.

4)COMMUNICATE.Don't wait for the other party to start,cos for all you know,your significant other would be waiting for YOU to start the conversation.It's never a good feeling to keep waiting and keep expecting a lot from someone when he/she is not capable of it.

5)Stop treating each other less than a friend,because he/she deserves the love that no one else is entitled to.RESPECT as a friend,love as a soulmate.When you respect as a friend,you can never keep secrets from each other.

6)Stop doing things that you think can make him/her realise their mistakes.Most people don't even see them at all until someone tells them.Stop telling them to think what their mistakes are when they insist on you telling them.

7)Choose your words right.People ALWAYS have the tendency to misintepret,especially when it comes to text messages.Always be straightfoward,but never do that if you intentionally meant to be mean.

8)Stop doing things that you know will hurt them for the sake of revenge.

9)Respect each other's decision when it comes to important issues in your life.For example,you have too many guy friends that you can't seem to shake off,and you know he's REALLY jealous of them.STOP TALKING TO THEM SO AS TO PROVE THAT HE'S THE ONLY ONE IN YOUR HEART.Your guyfriends will TOTALLY understand because they'll never do the same with their own girlfriends.Take in each others comments and make it a positive one so that you'll know what decisions you can make.

10)Stop telling each other of your sacrifices,because the biggest sacrifice is not telling what you did for them and for the sake of your relationship because you love each other too much.

11)Stop expecting something in return because you may never get a reply in all of the sacrifices that you made for each other.

12)Stop defending your ego(both parties) for something that's not worth anything more than the love that you have for each other.COMPROMISE.

13)When a girl/guy cries,it's all that he/she can do because they realise how important you are to them and the mistakes that they did to you.When he/she tells you that they're changing(no matter how slow)HE/SHE IS CHANGING FOR YOU,for a fact that you should be accepting him/her for who he/she is.

14)For a fact that a girl is more emotional due to hormones,they will keep brooding about the past.It's up to you to help her to find closure and move on with her life.

15)It has always been a FACT that when someone(always a female)says that she's okay,it means that she's not.UNLESS she insist that she's okay,then she is.=) Females,no matter what,will open up to you slowly.So don't force her to tell her problem if she's not ready.

16)Don't ask her to find someone else.She fell in love with you for a fact that she can never find someone better than you.No one can ever understand you better than her.When she keeps quiet,it doesn't mean that she's not listening to you.For all you know,you may be listening to silence but in truth,she's actually crying alone in the dark.

17)People always say that females are the most difficult people to understand,and it is true.We think too much because we take everything in consideration,and I mean EVERYTHING.We're not simple-minded people like you guys.One option that is best is to help her think of the choices that she has,and help her make the decision.

18)GIRLS ARE NEVER GOOD AT PLANNING DATES.

19)Being sexist is both good and bad.Good in a sense that you know what your beliefs are.Bad in a way that you are expecting too much from the other gender.COMPROMISE.(how can I stress that further?)

20)Eveyone would always want to be pampered.Never stop pampering each other(not with gifts but with acts of love and care),or you may start expecting things again.Last but not least,COMPROMISE!
